Avila is a human from Gilramshyre, so is of Odelian ethnicity, and was born in 490 DC. She is a baroness and helps to run the barony with her husband. She is 5'7“ and thin, with hazel eyes and long brown hair.

Known to most as Baroness De Burgh to most she comes across, she rarely goes by her first name. She is usually accompanied by her loyal knight Ser Bhalmyr who was with her when she left Gilramshyre to travel to Wickshyre in Velysord. She is a patron of the arts, especially theatre, and was Edwin Harper's patron until his untimely death in Soltus 525 DC.

Avila presents herself as every bit of a noble-born woman as possible. She has a pale complexion and hazel eyes. She has very long dark brown hair, worn in a variety of styles but often left to cascade over her shoulders. When there is any possibility of being in public, she wears a delicate circlet with the sigil of her house - an ash tree. Her dress is also reflective of her noble bearing, though while on the road to Westmark, she did not have the full extent of her wardrobe with her. When travelling she would often wear a long pleated coat, with a dress over a shirt and skirts. She is fond of jewels and jewelry and is almost always wearing at least a couple of pieces.

Raised within a noble household, Avila presents herself with the confidence and poise taught to her. Friendly and proper, she knows her way around polite conversation. Her patience only thinning when she feels she is being lied to or strung along. Even when angry, she always attempts to keep herself together and control her outward emotions.
