Forgive me, and bless me with the wisdom to use all its parts.

— a prayer to Aristophane from a hunter with a fresh kill

Originally serving as a goddess in the court of her mother Vitalinus, Aristophane began to philosophically diverge from others in her mother's court when she was charged with overseeing all of the animal life in Aedelor. With the help of her occasional consort Sirae, she successfully became powerful enough to establish her own court and win the support of many other deities that seek harmony in all places of the cosmos. Aristophane carefully maintains a balance of beasts in Aedelor by constantly living as them. It can be said that all fish in the sea, birds in the air, or creatures that prowls the lands of Aedelor are made in the image of Aristophane, who may appear as any of them. She taught the first dragons how to change their form as she did, who in turn eventually taught shapechanging to the first druids.
